Our Founders

We are committed to keep the original and traditional way of yoga

Didier Abner is the visionary founder of Yadu Yoga, a school dedicated to preserving and transmitting yoga in its purest and most traditional form. His journey on the yogic path began at the age of sixteen, when a chance encounter with a yoga master while traveling in Ecuador awakened a lifelong devotion. Shortly thereafter, he received initiation as a Bhakti Yogi and chose to live as a brahmacārī (celibate monk) in a forest āśram deep in the Ecuadorian jungle. It was in this setting of simplicity and sādhana that he began his formal practice of Haṭha and Ashtanga Yoga.

Immersed in daily discipline, scriptural study, and silence, Didier experienced a profound inner peace and a calling to share what he calls the “oldest wisdom of humanity — Yoga, the art of self-transformation.”

Upon returning to Colombia, Didier opened his first yoga school, where he taught for two years before joining the largest sports health club in the country, serving as a lead yoga instructor for four more years. His dedication and experience led him to establish Vishnu Yoga Studio, where he served as director and taught Ashtanga and Power Yoga, continuing to expand his mission of accessible yet authentic yoga education.

In 2014, Didier traveled to India, studying in the sacred cities of Rishikesh and Mysore, deepening his understanding under the guidance of traditional teachers. This pilgrimage further anchored his commitment to teaching within the framework of guru-paramparā (lineage) and scriptural tradition.

Following his studies, Didier relocated to Abu Dhabi, where he taught Yoga, Pilates Mat, and Reformer at the respected Bodytree Studio for seven years. During this time, he gained recognition from Yoga Alliance as a registered teacher trainer, allowing him to begin formally training and certifying new yoga teachers. In parallel, he organized and led international yoga retreats, teacher trainings, and workshops, always remaining faithful to the heart of yoga as a sacred path of personal and spiritual evolution.

As part of his ongoing commitment to tradition, Didier received initiation into the Śrī T. Kr̥ṣṇamācārya Sampradāya, embracing the Samantraka Krama — the integrated path of yoga that harmonizes āsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra, and meditation. Guided by this lineage, he teaches with reverence for both Patañjali’s Yoga Darśana and the Vaiṣṇava philosophical foundation, illuminating yoga not merely as technique, but as a living embodiment of divine relationship and surrender (śaraṇāgati).

Today, through Yadu Yoga, Didier continues to share the traditional teachings with sincerity, clarity, and depth — offering a space where yoga is not reduced to trend, but restored as a living tradition of transformation, devotion, and liberation.

Jhonatan Castro (Vamsi)

Found yoga more than 15 years ago. He started his journey with Ashtanga and progressively learned about other styles until he reached Iyengar, Currently his practice leans towards the latter and he continue to prepare.

Q: Why Iyengar?

R: I feel that it allows me to go deeper into the posture, there is detail in the execution of the asana and it teaches me to adapt this science to the needs of each person My first students were older adults and from this experience I discovered that I had a deep need to bring yoga closer to everyone and change the dynamics of asanas as a practice for flexible people or to become flexible. Yoga since then took on another meaning in my life and this led me to investigate other styles, in order to create a tool of great benefit for everyone, without limits So everyone is welcome to participate in my classes, the conditions you have are learning opportunities for my life and of course I will be delighted to be able to serve you through this dream.
